Golf Cart Vinyl Wrap Riveted Metal Purple

Our customer Gary Johnson writes:

The base buggy is a 2000 Club Car Carryall I. I built this buggy for my daughters. We spend a lot of time in the California desert and mountains, so we need a capable buggy. I built a custom 3-link suspension in the rear and added a Jake’s lift to the front. It gets us everywhere we need to go, and probably some places we shouldn’t go. Of course, the girls wanted to look as good as it performed, and the vinyl graphics helped us get the look we wanted for this project. They wanted a purple buggy, and the color and pattern of the purple riveted metal plate is exactly what we needed to complete the theme. I had a simple purple paint job quoted at over $600.00. In my opinion, the vinyl graphics generated a much higher quality result at an exceptional value. I have not installed vinyl before, but it vinyl applied smoothly and easily. I think it looks amazing, and my daughters love it! Thank you for your wonderful service and follow up!

Flame Wrap Slimy Grimy Green, Green Flame Body Skinz, golf cart wrap

Here is what he had to say about his custom wrap: Was a little intimidated when my Body wrap arrived in the mail….it got there a lot quicker than I anticipated. These guys don’t mess around, very helpful and supportive on the phone, and they get your product out to you in a flash. I’ve never taken on a project like this before, and was nervous that I was gonna screw it up. But here it is, I paid good money for it…and SOMEBODY had to put it on….so I sucked up the fear of messing up and had a beer and got to work. The golfcargraphics.com website says that the wrap can be applied without removing the body, but I figured it would be easier to do if I DID remove the body (as if I were about to paint it)…I was wrong…I now know that a golf cart body is extremely flimsy and I had to wrestle this throughout the entire time. LEAVE THE BODY ON THE CART!!!
The instruction sheet tells you which sheet is intended to go where, it wasn’t really hard to do…I have some seems I would have liked to avoid, and COULD have avoided if I would have had some practice…..By the time I was applying the last sheet…I pretty much knew what I was doing!!! Unfortunately on the first one or two, I had NO FREAKIN CLUE…but it IS fairly easy…ya just cant be scared to grab the stuff and really give it a good stretching pull…at first I was trying to be all careful and handling it delicately. But this stuff is pretty tough and NEEDS to be pulled and stretched.
Talk a buddy into buying one and help him put HIS on…then it will be a breeze to put your own on!!! 😉I’ve added some more accessories since the original photos, mainly a roll bar and windshield. Here are a couple of updated pictures.

Super Sport Silver Vinyl Flame Golf Cart Wraps

New Blue Flame Golf Car Wrap Body Skinz– Including Roof

This was a fairly easy install, following the directions given in the video on the website. I will point out that we prepped the body surface wiping with denatured alcohol . We laid out our pieces on the cart before hand to see where coverage was not complete, cut pieces accordingly from areas of extra, and used those pieces in the incomplete areas. When ordering my wrap I requested an extra piece to cover the front of the roof. My roof was a different surface than the cart surface (more like a slick plastic surface). Because of this I sprayed it with Krylon Fusion and let dry over night before applying wrap (this was just for the roof!!) Once all pieces were cut, we peeled backing from one edge to the center, applied beginning at the center working to one edge and then to the other squeegeeing from the center out. As contact was made with the surface we heated with a hair dryer (lightly/medium heat), which made the wrap flexible and easy to adjust (especially on body contours and seams). If using the flame wrap like this one, try to plan your seams where the flame pattern is fairly jagged and you will not be able to see the seam. That’s it!!

(Hint: If your seams show a small white edge, you can take a fine point sharpie and color the edge. Also, be sure on the front to put lower filler pieces (above wheels) so top piece overlaps bottom piece.)
